*chasing an older teen girl, about 15/16, down the alley*

-growls- *her eyes are red and glinting, she no longer has her civility*

Girl:
Help! Stop! -cries- Please no! *runs and trips on brick*

Xan:
-smiles, her teeth glistening- Your mine now...

Girl:
-on hands and knees backing up- Please...stop....*cries*

Xan:
Sorry...I can't....smells...to good....heart...beating fast....-takes a deep breath- I have you...your mine....

Girl:
*shuts eyes and crying silently* -curls up into ball- Just do it quickly....

Xan:
-lunges at girl and bites her throat-

Boy:
Vicky! No! -jumps on Xan knocking her away from girl-

Xan:
-growls and attacks boy- Stupid human!

Vicky:
-lying on ground, blood leaking from her neck- *whispers* Ryan...no....stop....

Boy:
I love you Vicky...thats why I did this....-struggles with Xan-

Xan:
-latches on to boy's neck and begins to drain him- *drops the boy to the ground* -snaps out of trance- Oh no.....what have I done....-runs away crying leaving the girl,who she thinks is dead, in the alley along with the deceased boy- Im sorry!

Vicky:
-her eyes open, slowly glinting into a dark red. Her hair is now a dark black, her skin paling, she is beautiful....- *shifts in pain* I..will....get...you....someday...somehow.....-squeezes eyes shut- My Ryan....dead.....now...I have lost everything....the epidemic took my family....the vampire girl took my love and now my human life.... I will use what she cursed me with to get revenge.....

-wakes up with a start-

I killed her lover....I almost killed her.... I couldnt stop...I didnt have control then...at the beginning....now I have gotten older...I matured..I am different now...

-tears fall- I killed innocent people...I..I am a monster...no...

-walks in- It feels like forever since I have slept.

*lies on her bed, borrows under her covers like she used to when she was a child* -closes her eyes and sleeps-

*begins to dream*

A tall, dark tan, dark haired boy with brown eyes is sitting on a bench next to Xan. He looks about 16/17.

Xan:
I-I am not sure anymore...

Rielledan:
It's okay Ade. We'll get through this.

Xan:
-hugs him- Your the best cousin ever Riel...

Riel:
I know -smiles- But the epidemic is sure to fade soon.

Xan:
But they already took Mom and Dad. And Gabrielle. -tears fall-

Riel:
-stiffens at the mention of his younger sister- I know.

Xan:
Do you think she could still be alive? Gabby ran when they came, she got away...

Riel:
I hope so....but she would have mind spoke to you by now...

*tears fall in Xans sleep as a cheery face appears in her mind. A girl, about 14/15 appears. She has long super curly hair and dark tan skin, and hazel eyes, there is a slight mischievous twinkle in them*

-whispers, still half asleep-

Riel:
I am leaving.

Xan:
What? Why?

Riel:
To find Gabs

Xan:
Then I am coming too.

Riel:
No you are not. You have to stay here. Try to join Chaos' feral clan, okay? Be safe. -hugs her-

Xan:
Please. Don't -cries- You're the only family I have right now...

Riel:
-looks at her, eyes water- No. You have Marissa. Stay with her. I will be back.

*dream fades, a strange sensation happens in Xan's mind*

-wakes, still groggy- W-what?

You have to find us. Riel found me, now its your turn to find us. We are in the mountains somewhere... I am not exactly sure where. Rouges have taken us and I am not sure what to do...... Oh no! here they come! Ade! You must find us! Please! Help!

-hears strange voices along with her cousins' shouts of pain as they are drug and beaten-
